Open positions

We are always looking for new group members with passion, talent, and grit!

You will have the chance to work on the grand challenges of computer and social sciences. You will be involved in determining the important and interesting questions, creating and improving state of the art work, performing measurements, building systems etc.

Internship (Open)

We offer a limited number of internship positions (3–4) each year for highly motivated students interested in gaining hands-on research experience.

Eligibility & selection criteria

  • • Strong academic performance (e.g., programming skills)
  • • Relevant project or practical experience
  • • Demonstrated interest in original research in computer sciences or social sciences
  • • Motivation and commitment to contribute to ongoing research projects

What we offer

  • • Mentorship from experienced researchers and faculty
  • • Involvement in active research projects across diverse areas of computer and social sciences
  • • Opportunity to co-author research papers or present findings at conferences
  • • Access to the group's research infrastructure and resources
  • • Monthly stipends for 'selected' interns during their stay at IEH

Duration

Internships are typically offered during the academic year or summer (4–6 months), depending on project needs.
